TerraGraphics is in search of an innovative and detailed individual to fill our Web/Database Developer position.  If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a stable, corporate environment offering a challenging and rewarding experience with a flexible work schedule, then this position is for you.
At TerraGraphics, our Web/Database Developer position supports a variety of tasks and personnel requiring a vast array of skills, qualifications, competencies, and talents.  In this position you will work closely with project team members to maintain and organize data and improve work flow.  Your daily interaction will provide the opportunity to develop skills pertaining to the following:
  • Relational Databases, TSQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views in SQL Server 2005
  • C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, and Classic ASP
  • ADO, ADO.Net, LINQ to SQL, SVN, IIS 7.5
  • Develop and maintain databases and web applications
Position location: Moscow or Kellogg, Idaho
Responsibilities: 
  • Organize and scope needs and application requirements
  • Design, implement, and document web and database code, applications, and processes
  • Integrate closely with GIS applications
  • Make recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements to web applications and database systems to improve work flow
  • Perform both new development and maintenance tasks
  • Other related duties as required
Required Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge and ability to understand, develop, and maintain databases and web applications
  • Program in one or more of the following languages
    • C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, or Classic ASP
  • Experience with Relational Databases such as TSQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views in SQL Server 2005; create and edit SQL Queries using CTE, Cursors, Temp Tables and Functions
  • Demonstrate efficient debugging skills in both database and code
  • Ability to communicate work to non-technical managers and staff
Desirable Qualifications: 
  • Familiarity with industry standards for database design and programming
  • Experience with Javascript, Photoshop, MS Access, Excel
Other Information: 
  • Full- to part-time work load.
  • Flexible schedule, with some time required during normal business hours.
  • $12-$15 per hour - depending on experience and abilities.
